In 2025, John Joe toured across Scotland with an evening of Gaelic songs from Barra and further afield, tunes and plenty craic! He was joined by multi-instrumentalist Sileas Sinclair. John Joe is planning to launch his first solo album in 2027 — Barraigh an Àigh.

Sileas hails from Connel in Argyll. She is a multi-instrumentalist and was recently inducted into the Hands up for Trad Hall of Fame for services to the community. As a choral director and arranger, Sileas has conducted Oban Gaelic Choir for over 20 years, recently leading the choir to an historic win — winning the Lovat and Tullibardine Shield four times in a row.

John Joe and Sileas hope to hit the road again at the beginning of 2027 — with the solo album and a fresh programme of dates to follow.
